However, all accessory items such as lenses, filters, and mounting accessories continue to be available. Most viewer repair/replacement parts (excepting the image conversion tubes), also continue to be available.

FIND-R-SCOPE^® -52X Plus Kit Model 84499C-52XP includes the 84499C-5 Infrared Viewer, with a 25mm objective lens installed, and an optional 50mm C-Mount Lens objective lens in addition to the standard 25mm lens. The 50mm lens includes an adjustable aperture that ranges from f/1.8 to close. It also includes an LP830-30.5 Visible Blocking Filter, and a CU400-27 Close-Up Lens. Save $ when purchased as a kit!

The included 84499C-5 FIND-R-SCOPE^® is a self-contained, hand-held infrared viewer operating in the near-infrared region of the spectrum. An image converter tube, and high voltage power supply combine with a 25mm C-Mount objective lens and other precision optics to permit a view of objects or images which cannot otherwise be seen by the naked eye.

The LP830-30.5 Filter is a screw on lens accessory. This longpass filter blocks the visible spectrum for a better signal-to-noise ratio when viewing the near-IR. (Threshold minimum @ 780 nm.)

The CU400-27 Close-Up Lens is a screw on lens accessory. This lens allows the 25mm lens to provide a M.O.D. (minimum object distance) capability of 110mm, and an approximate focusing span from 110mm to 250mm (4.3-9.8″).

The SU27-30.5 Step Up Ring allows the LP830-30.5 filter to be used on the 27mm dia., 25mm Objective Lens.

Stackable Accessories: The Close-Up Lens and above filter are threaded screw-on lens accessories. They have compatible threads so they can be stacked. (When using the CU-400, make sure that you attach the CU-400 lens to the main objective lens first.)

The built in aperture of the lens eliminates the need for an external iris accessory.
