Neutral Density Filters are highly-beneficial in imaging applications with intense and overwhelming light. They are commonly used in outdoor aerial imaging and photography and can be used with monochrome or color cameras. Designed by MidOpt®, these filters reduce light intensity neutrally over a specific wavelength range without affecting image color or contrast.

Offered in both ND and Ni Series. The ND series filters are absorptive filters that are effective from 425-675nm and are available in optical densities ranging from 0.10-6.0. The Ni series filters provide low reflectivity, are effective from 400-2000nm and are available in optical densities ranging from 0.3-2.0.
