MidOpt - Bi525 Light Green Interference Bandpass Filter

The MidOpt Bi525 Light Green Interference Bandpass Filter features a narrow passband combined with high peak transmission and excellent out-of-band blocking. The Bi525 is recommended for systems that use 520nm green laser diodes or 520nm / 525nm green LED light sources. 520 nm LEDs are typically used in bioanalytical applications, while 525nm LEDs are commonly used in machine vision. Popularly used fluorophores (e.g., GFP, GelStar, SYBER Green, etc.) have emission maximas at or very near 525nm, and a Bi525 filter can be used to block excitation sources and other interfering longer and shorter wavelength light while passing desired green emission wavelengths. MidOpt Bandpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness and are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss.
