The MidOpt BN785 Narrow Near-Infrared (IR) Bandpass Filter is commonly used in security, traffic control and license plate recognition when there is overwhelming ambient light conditions and is suitable for laser diode and LED illumination. MidOpt Bandpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness, are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss and have StablEDGE technology to reduce angular dependency and minimize the effects of short-shifting.
