MidOpt - BP550 Near-Infrared (IR) / Ultraviolet (UV)-Block Visible (VIS) Bandpass Filter

The MidOpt BP550 Near-Infrared (IR) / Ultraviolet (UV)-Block Visible (VIS) Bandpass Filter passes all visible (VIS) light while blocking all light outside the VIS range without “discoloring” the image. This single substrate, hard-coated filter is designed for use in full color, white light applications where either infrared (IR) or UV light (or both) may be present. The BP550 is made with low expansion glass substrate, so it can withstand high temperatures. MidOpt Bandpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness, are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss and have StablEDGE technology to reduce angular dependency and minimize the effects of short-shifting.
