MidOpt - BP485 Absorptive Visible (VIS) Bandpass / Near-Infrared (IR) Block Filter

The MidOpt BP485 Absorptive Visible (VIS) Bandpass / Near-Infrared (IR) Block Filter is commonly used as an internal infrared blocking filter in cameras. When working with any camera that has had its internal filter removed, a mounted BP485 filter can be considered in order to, when needed, allow it to once again work like the unmodified camera. The BP485 has an excellent spectral response in the blue portion compared to other absorptive IR blocking filters. MidOpt Bandpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness, are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss and have StablEDGE technology to reduce angular dependency and minimize the effects of short-shifting.
