The MidOpt LP171 Fused Silica Multi-Layer Visible (VIS) Anti-Reflection (AR) Coated Protective Window is made from an ultra-pure, synthetic optical material similar to fused quartz. The LP171 offers extremely low thermal expansion, has a high resistance to shock, is scratch-resistant and has excellent optical properties. It performs well in high-temperature applications, with the ability to withstand temperatures of up to 1100° C. The LP171 is also chemical-resistant and has superior transmission in the ultraviolet (UV) through near-infrared (IR) spectral ranges. The LP171 is AR coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss, is double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness and features StablEDGE technology to reduce angular dependency and minimize the effects of short-shifting.
