The MidOpt Bi550 Green Interference Bandpass Filter is designed to block unwanted ambient light when imaging subjects illuminated with 550nm green LEDs. They are also used to isolate the green vegetation signal used to arrive at EVI (Enhanced Vegetation Index) and other similar plant health numerical indices. MidOpt Bandpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness and are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss.
