MidOpt - Bi650 Red Interference Bandpass Filter

The MidOpt Bi650 Red Interference Bandpass Filter has a narrow bandwidth, blocks ultraviolet (UV) and near-infrared (IR) wavelengths and is useful in applications where intense sunlight or other interfering ambient light may be present. These filters are commonly used in vegetative health applications where low reflectivity at 650nm is used to identify (relatively) healthy vegetation. Bi650 filters are also compatible with 650nm laser diodes and LEDs, frequently used in laser pointers and pattern generators. MidOpt Bandpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness and are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss.
