MidOpt - Bi808 Near-Infrared (IR) Interference Bandpass Filter

The MidOpt Bi808 Near-Infrared (IR) Interference Bandpass Filter can be used to highlight dyes used in labeling, packaging and manufacturing. These markings often do not stand out when viewed under visible (VIS), white or colored light. Use of a Bi750 placed filter over the camera sensor or camera’s objective lens can eliminate interfering VIS and longer wave near-IR (NIR) light in order to greatly improve contrast / detection. MidOpt Bandpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness and are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss.
