The MidOpt BP590 Orange Bandpass Filter is recommended for systems that use amber or orange LED lighting. The BP590 is also widely used in fluorescence imaging applications, particularly with dyes such as ethidium bromide, or when working with Qdot 565, 585 or 605. MidOpt Bandpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness, are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss and have StablEDGE technology to reduce angular dependency and minimize the effects of short-shifting.
