MidOpt - DB940 Dual Bandpass Filter Visible (VIS) + 940nm Near-Infrared (IR) Filter

The MidOpt DB940 Dual Bandpass Filter Visible (VIS) + 940nm Near-Infrared (IR) Filter passes VIS and reflects 940nm LED light without impacting system Modulation Transfer Function (MTF). 940nm LEDs don't emit the faint red glow associated with 850nm and other lower near-IR (NIR) LED wavelengths. Using a DB940 filter over or behind the lens allows full color imaging during the day and covert surveillance at night. However, any camera’s spectral response at 940nm will be lower than at other, shorter NIR wavelengths, so relative sensitivity of each camera’s imaging sensor at 940nm must also be considered. DB940 filters are also used in many automated inspection and 3D point cloud imaging applications. MidOpt Multi-Bandpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness and are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss.
