MidOpt - LP830 Near-Infrared (IR) Longpass Filter

The MidOpt LP830 Near-Infrared (IR) Longpass Filter is designed for use with an infrared LED light emitting at 850nm or 880nm, when it's also desirable to transmit longer infrared wavelengths as well. Longpass filters are often referred to as "sharp-cut" filters and are specifically designed to pass a broad spectrum of longer wavelength light while blocking shorter wavelengths. They're commonly used in fluorescence applications to block an excitation light source or to pass multiple emission wavelengths, improving signal-to-noise ratio. If looking for longer wavelength blocking and higher peak transmissions, the BP850 or BP880 is recommended. MidOpt Longpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness and are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss.
