MidOpt - SP650 Near-Infrared (IR) / Mid-Red Dichroic Block Shortpass Filter

The MidOpt SP650 Near-Infrared (IR) / Mid-Red Dichroic Block Shortpass Filter is mainly used as an internal IR blocking filter in color cameras. The SP650 blocks near-IR (NIR) wavelengths out to 1100nm, has high transmission across the visible (VIS) range and has a 50% point in the middle of the red portion of the spectrum making it an ideal choice for cameras with typical CMOS sensor responsivity. The SP650 is useful to achieve natural color rendition with superior response in the blue channel. MidOpt Shortpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths and are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss.
