MidOpt - SP635 Absorptive Visible (VIS) Shortpass / Near-Infrared (IR) Block Filter

The MidOpt SP635 Absorptive Visible (VIS) Shortpass / Near-Infrared (IR) Block Filter is recommended for use inside a camera to block IR light. When working with any camera that has been modified to have its internal IR cut filter removed, an SP635 is mounted on the front of the lens when needed to return the camera's function to the unmodified version. As an absorptive IR block filter, it's also recommended for protecting the camera’s sensor from stray light emitted by lasers or other high power near-IR (NIR) light sources. MidOpt Shortpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss and have StablEDGE technology to reduce angular dependency and minimize the effects of short-shifting.
