The MidOpt SP705 Near-Infrared (IR) / Deep Red Absorptive Block Shortpass Filter is an absorptive IR rejection filter recommended for blocking stray or scattered light from higher power near-IR (NIR) light sources, particularly lasers, and protecting a camera’s sensor. MidOpt Shortpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss and have StablEDGE technology to reduce angular dependency and minimize the effects of short-shifting.
