The MidOpt SP570 Blue-Green Shortpass Filter is recommended for applications requiring the complete removal of orange, red and near-infrared (IR) portions of the spectrum. Some common applications include viewing hot rolled steel or, combined with a neutral density (ND) filter, viewing arc welding operations. MidOpt Shortpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths and are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss.
