MidOpt - LP695 Near-Infrared (IR) Longpass Filter
SKU: LP695-25.5
The MidOpt LP695 Near-Infrared (IR) Longpass Filter enhances subject recognition in the IR. The LP695 Filter cuts on sharply at the beginning of the infrared portion of the spectrum, passing the complete Near-IR (NIR) spectrum. Longpass filters are often referred to as "sharp-cut" filters and are specifically designed to pass a broad spectrum of longer wavelength light while blocking shorter wavelengths. They're commonly used in fluorescence applications to block an excitation light source or to pass multiple emission wavelengths, improving signal-to-noise ratio. To block unwanted longer infrared wavelengths, the BP735 Near-IR Bandpass filter is an excellent alternative. MidOpt Longpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness and are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss.
